Welcome to The Platform Magazine Foundation


The Platform Magazine Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization that serves as the charitable arm of The Platform Magazine LLC, created to extend our mission beyond the page and into communities. As a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, we are committed to advancing education, civic engagement, and innovation for learners of all ages.


The Platform Magazine Foundation is a nonpartisan organization committed to informing, inspiring, and connecting communities through education, innovation, service, and civic engagement.


Our programs focus on:

• Educational Workshops: Providing hands-on learning opportunities in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, history, leadership, and workforce readiness for students, families, and communities.


• Educational Publications: Developing free and accessible educational resources, guides, articles, and digital content that support teachers, students, and lifelong learners.


• Community Engagement & Partnerships: Collaborating with schools, nonprofits, businesses, veterans, educators, and community leaders to create pathways for mentorship, leadership development, career exploration, and innovation.

Through these initiatives, we inspire the next generation of scientists, educators, innovators, public servants, and community leaders while expanding access to educational opportunities and lifelong learning.

Dr. Judy Staveley is a senior scientist, author, sponsored athlete, and military spouse who has dedicated her career to advancing education, innovation, and community engagement. As the Founder of The Platform Magazine and President of The Platform Magazine Foundation, she brings over 20 years of leadership in STEMM education, nonprofit organization service, and veteran advocacy. Her vision is to empower communities through education, inspire youth, and honor the resilience of military families by transforming stories of leadership and innovation into real-world impact.

Vice Chair

Linda Kelnock is a nurse, sponsored athlete, and community leader who brings a unique combination of health expertise, discipline, and resilience to The Platform Magazine Foundation. Monique Staveley is a passionate volunteer who has dedicated her time to supporting military families through numerous Blue Star Families STEMM education events. As a military child herself, Monique brings firsthand experience of resilience, adaptability, and service to others. She empowers military families by combining her commitment to education with her love for art, using creativity as a tool for community engagement to inspire and strengthen communities. Her perspective ensures that the nonprofit organization's work remains deeply connected to the experiences and needs of military families.

Advisory Board Chair: Financial Advisor & STEMM Education Aviation Advisor

Pete Staveley is a former Navy and Air Force fighter pilot, an honorable veteran, and a dedicated educator who is passionate about community engagement. He has served as a Civil Air Patrol instructor and flight instructor, and is currently a Captain with Southwest Airlines. With decades of aviation and military leadership experience, Pete brings unmatched discipline, resilience, and vision to his role on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit organization. His service background and commitment to mentoring youth in aviation not only reflect the Foundation’s mission but also emphasize the importance of STEMM education to inspire and empower communities through education and innovation.

TEXAS Senior Advisor Veteran, Military and Military Families, and Community Partnerships

Gerardo "Jerry" Viera, Texas Senior Advisor for Veterans, Military Families & Community Partnerships, is a United States military veteran and a dedicated advocate for service members navigating the challenges of transition. As he serves in this role, he emphasizes the importance of community engagement within nonprofit organizations to support veterans. With a powerful combination of lived experience, leadership, and community insight, Gerardo contributes to The Platform Magazine Foundation. He is passionate about helping veterans overcome obstacles after service and is committed to promoting STEMM education. By building bridges between military families, local organizations, and support networks, he ensures no veteran faces transition alone. His dedication to empowerment and connection strengthens our mission across the state of Texas and beyond.

Senior Advisor for Veteran Fitness and Wellness

The Honorable Rob Wilkins serves as Senior Advisor for Veteran Fitness and Wellness for The Platform Magazine. A retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant and nationally recognized military fitness advocate, Wilkins is a former member of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition appointed under both President Trump and President Biden. He is widely respected for his leadership in military wellness, human performance, veteran advocacy, and national fitness initiatives supporting service members, veterans, and military families.

Media & Communications Advisor

Barry Morgenstein, Media & Communications Advisor Barry Morgenstein is a distinguished photographer and visual storyteller renowned for capturing powerful imagery that engages hearts and minds. As Media & Communications Advisor to The Platform Magazine Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on community engagement and STEMM education, he brings his decades of experience in portraiture, editorial photography, and visual advocacy to support and elevate our storytelling strategy. With a strong record of working with veterans and community initiatives, Barry helps shape the Foundation’s visual voice, marketing assets, and media narratives—ensuring our mission is seen, heard, and felt.

Social Media Advisor

April Viera, Texas Social Media Advisor, is a dedicated advocate for military families and a proud veteran spouse, committed to enhancing community engagement and visibility for those who serve behind the scenes. With deep roots in the military community and a passion for digital storytelling, April utilizes her social media expertise to elevate voices, share impactful stories, and expand outreach for The Platform Magazine Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting military families. Her work bridges communication, engagement, and mission-driven awareness across online platforms, particularly in promoting STEMM education initiatives. April's commitment reflects the spirit of service, creativity, and resilience that defines the military family experience — ensuring every story, every mission, and every community we support is seen and celebrated.

Strategic Advisor for National Security & Operations

Only Frazier is a U.S. Army Veteran and national security professional with over a decade of experience in the intelligence community. She has supported Joint, Interagency, Intergovernmental, and Multinational missions spanning ground operations, information operations, and space across tactical, operational, and strategic levels.

Her work has earned recognition from senior leadership, including Colonel Robert Shrader, U.S. Space Force (Ret.), former Director of the National Reconnaissance Office Operations Center, who described her as “a rare combination of technical expertise and interpersonal acumen.” She is known for her analytical precision, ability to build trust in high-stakes environments, and skill in uniting diverse teams toward mission success.

Beyond her professional work, Only brings a well-rounded perspective shaped by her interests in history, art, music, and gaming, reflecting both analytical discipline and creative thinking.

Originally from Tacoma, Washington, she is a proud third-generation Army Veteran.

As Strategic Advisor for National Security & Operations for The Platform Magazine Foundation, she provides strategic guidance on defense-aligned initiatives, operational planning, and veteran-focused programming, supporting the Foundation’s mission at the intersection of science, service, and national security.

Strategic Advisor Partnerships and Public Presence

Daniel Erbe is a Grammy-featured vocalist, elite performance coach, and former U.S. Army Musical Ambassador with more than 30 years of experience commanding world-class stages. From national media appearances to major political conventions and high-profile leadership events, he has built a career at the intersection of communication, performance, and influence.

As a board member focused on Strategic Partnerships and Public Presence, Daniel brings a unique ability to elevate organizational visibility, strengthen high-level relationships, and represent the mission with authority and impact. His expertise lies in transforming how leaders and organizations communicate, ensuring their message resonates with clarity, confidence, and lasting impression.

Daniel is the creator of the STAR Power™ performance framework, a proprietary system used to help executives, speakers, and entrepreneurs move beyond delivering information to creating unforgettable audience experiences. His work centers on helping leaders own the room, amplify their presence, and translate vision into influence.

With a background rooted in both military service and elite performance, Daniel offers a disciplined, results-driven approach to public engagement and partnership development. His role on the board supports expanding strategic alliances, enhancing brand presence, and positioning the organization at the forefront of national conversations.

Brandie Cossette, Business & Partnerships. Brandie Cossette is a legislative professional and artist whose work is rooted in service, leadership, and creativity. Coming from a military family, she brings a deep understanding of the military community and its unique challenges. Recognized for her advocacy and leadership, she has received the Key Spouse of the Year award at both the Squadron and Group levels, along with the prestigious Joan Orr Award. With experience in congressional offices and a passion for creative expression, Brandie actively engages in community engagement initiatives and supports nonprofit organizations focused on STEMM education. Her work, both in policy and on canvas, reflects a commitment to integrity, impact, and thoughtful execution.

Strategic Event Advisor

Alessandra Griffitt serves as the Strategic Event Advisor for The Platform Magazine Foundation, where she provides strategic guidance on the planning and execution of high-impact events that advance the Foundation’s mission of service, education, and community engagement.

Based in Northern Virginia, Alessandra is a professional model, entrepreneur, and community advocate whose career spans the fashion industry, the space sector, and small business leadership. Known for her resilience and dynamic presence, she brings a multidisciplinary perspective to her work, combining creativity with strategic insight to elevate experiences and connect diverse audiences.

As a dedicated mother and leader, Alessandra is deeply committed to uplifting Veterans and strengthening local communities. Her work reflects a passion for service and a belief in the power of meaningful engagement to create lasting impact.

With a global background rooted in her Brazilian heritage and a deep appreciation for American values and opportunity, Alessandra embodies a unique blend of cultural perspective and national pride. Her leadership continues to inspire collaboration, innovation, and excellence across the initiatives she supports.

Founding Legal Advisor

Mitchell A. Greenberg, Esq. is the Founding Legal Advisor to The Platform Magazine Foundation and has served the nonprofit organization for over 13 years. As a seasoned attorney barred federally, in Maryland, and in Washington, D.C., Mitchell brings deep legal expertise and an unwavering commitment to justice, accountability, and ethical stewardship. He is the founder of The Law Offices of Mitchell A. Greenberg and has dedicated his career to advocating for individuals who often have nowhere else to turn, including the unjustly accused, injured workers, and those harmed by negligence. His practice is rooted in protecting rights, restoring dignity, and holding responsible parties accountable. Mitchell’s long-standing guidance has shaped the Foundation’s responsible growth and governance practices, emphasizing community engagement and mission integrity. His counsel ensures that the Foundation continues to operate with transparency, strength, and principled leadership, all while supporting initiatives related to STEMM education.

Senior Advisor for Military, Veterans, and Regional Community Impact

Ben Carranza is a proud United States Navy veteran and a dedicated community leader currently serving as an officer with H-E-B in Texas. His career reflects a strong commitment to service, leadership, and the well-being of veterans, military families, and local communities. Through both his military background and civilian leadership role, Ben brings valuable insight into teamwork, operational excellence, and mission-driven community engagement.

As a member of The Platform Magazine Foundation Board, he supports initiatives that strengthen veteran support networks, expand community partnerships, and advance opportunities that uplift military-connected families across Texas and beyond.
